Friends Corner Book Shop is operated by the Friends of the Lafayette Library and Learning Center. Thanks to an all-volunteer staff and donated inventory, expenses are kept to a minimum. The bulk of the proceeds we make selling gently used books goes to support the Lafayette Library and Learning Center.
About the Friends
Originally organized in 1939, the Friends of the Lafayette Library has a long history of supporting our local library in its various locations throughout the years.
Since our first parking lot used book sale in 1967, selling gently used books has been an increasingly important fundraising vehicle for the Friends to help support current Library needs and save for future ones.
