Mechanics Bank Helps the Lafayette Library and the Environment

Mechanics Bank has donated 100 reusable book bags to the Friends of the Lafayette Library. These black bags feature the Friends of the Lafayette Library logo and are sturdy as well as stylish. They also come with a convenient carrying case that fits easily into a pocket or purse because you never know when the urge to shop will hit you and no one wants to carry home plastic bags anymore.

Get yours for $5 at the Friends Corner Book Shop and, while you’re there, fill it with bargains from the Book Shop’s huge selection. Most books are in great condition and cost $2 or less.
